			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So tomorrow morning I will have successfully made it through week one of this new lifestyle!</p>
<p>YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!</p>
<p>I think that I have reason to celebrate, considering how I was eating last week!<br />
So I have eaten between 1100 and 1900 calories each day (aiming for 1200-1800 week two), And consume at least 64 ounces of water (aiming for 100 week two.. gah!).  Also, I am not really worried  right now about weighing myself.. because I am doing it more so for my health and well-being. But I might weigh myself next week just to keep progress. I have only had 3 liquids this entire week. Throughout the entire week I had mostly water, about 4 cups of orange juice, and about 30 min ago had one cup of fat free skim milk (which I was craving.. weird!).</p>
<p>I have added SO many vegetables to my diet. I eat them with every meal! For Breakfast and my mid meal snacks I always grab some fruit. For Lunch I will have a low-carb bread Turkey Sandwich and a Salad, or a healthy frozen meal with a plate of Veggies. I always have a frozen dinner with either a plate of veggies or a salad.</p>
<p>I also take an assortment of Daily vitamins including: Women&#8217;s One a Day, Calcium &amp; Vitamin D, Fish Oil (creepy), Acai Berry, Eye Vitamins, Vitamin C, and Fiber. I&#8217;m not sure if I actually need to be taking all of these.. but I do feel really good lol. So yeah! <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>ALSO &#8212; I enter everything I consume on fitday.com!! Please check out this website!! It is a great tool to keep track of your caloric intake, nutritional information, and lots of other cool things to help you out in your new healthy lifestyle!!</p>

<p>So at the end of the week I can say that I feel GREAT! I actually feel a lot better than I did last week.. My mind is more clear and I don&#8217;t feel so stressed. I also have a neutral to happy mood most of the time and haven&#8217;t found myself feeling depressed&#8230; that is an AMAZING thing! So I am definitely looking forward to this next coming week, and many more weeks to come! Definitely feeling optimistic <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Goals for this week:<br />
&#8211; MORE EXERCISE (I only exercised twice.. boo!)<br />
&#8211; More water (100 ounces.. I will probably have to pee all day <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> .. oh well!)<br />
&#8211; Keep my percentages in the descending order: Carbs, Protein, Fats (you will see what I mean if you go on fitday.com)<br />
&#8211; Go to bed and wake up earlier</p>

As some of you know I have decided to go on a &#8220;lifestyle change&#8221;&#8230; Now I don&#8217;t like to say &#8220;diet,&#8221; because diets tend to not work for me. I have been on every diet under the sun.. Low carb, high carb, low fat, high fat, low protein, high protein, and blah blah blah. While some I have done actually really well on.. I always gain it back :/ because I can&#8217;t stick with it.</p>
<p>So I then realized that it&#8217;s not about these quick fixes.. It&#8217;s about a whole LIFEstyle change.. It&#8217;s about gradually altering your eating habits and cutting your calories. One easy thing you could do at first would be to cut out Soda.. I used to drink SO much soda.. and to think of how many calories it ultimately adds up to.. I could have probably eaten a meal. Another thing to try is simply picking healthier options of your favorite meals. Instead of going for fried chicken.. go for grilled. And skip out on unnecessary fats such as cheese sour cream, and creamy dressings if you can..</p>
<p>I decided to do this because I am still young. And I have age on my side, health wise.. Now maybe in 10 years if I decide to stay the same way I could run into a plethora of problems&#8230; Including: diabetes, sleep apnea, joint problems, and cardiovascular issues <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />  So I am going to try and conquer this head on while I am in the opportune moment! <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>But even if you are older.. there is no better time than now! And maybe you have some of these complications. Weight loss could alleviate if not eliminate them! So think about it. Is food really more important than YOU?!.. And I have decided that it isn&#8217;t. My health and well being comes first</p>
<p>Btw.. a good way to keep track of your food is to keep a diary. I write down everything that goes in my mouth. fitday.com is a really neat site to help you with this!!</p>

<p>So by the advice of my cousin Carol, I have decided to start a blog. So hello! Here I am! So hmm.. First of all my legal name is Ashley.. But I like the name Chole.. and the masses like to call me, Oosh <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> .. And I guess I am here to just let you stalk my life! Yay! So yeah.. I am from Ohio, and I currently live in Germantown… Maybe you’ve heard of it? But Probably not if you’re outside of the Dayton area.</p>
<p>So anyhoo! I am an aspiring singer and am currently in the band Trunk Bound Regime, with some of the coolest people I have ever met! They keep me grounded and I look up to them in SO many ways.. They are AMAZING! You see, I lack a little thing called experience.. no I don’t mean singing experience.. I mean LIFE experience. I am 21 years old and don’t have much to show for my life. I have never had a real job and I have been graduated from High School since 2006. I have all these life aspirations.. believe me I have SO many! And they seem to change a lot.. lol. But ultimately I know what I want from this life. I just wish I could get over this little thing called “fear&#8230;”</p>
<p><em>Fear</em> is bullshit. I almost think it doesn’t really exist. I kinda think that it is something you create as an excuse for something deeper inside. Something you might be hiding from the world.. or even yourself. But I, along with so many others, use this fear as an excuse for not living a prosperous life. But why? What is there really to fear. Failure? Maybe.</p>
<p>Maybe that is my problem. But nothing is more “failure” worthy than not putting myself out there because of fear of failure…… Wow! I think I have just had an epiphany from this blog.. lol I am not even done with my first post and it has already happened.. ha! So I am gonna stay optimistic and do what feels right for me. I am just gonna have to conquer my “fears” and move on. You can’t grow if you don’t learn. And knowledge is something you can only gain while living. So intend to live my life to the fullest extent from here on out! Hopefully while I chronicle my journey, someone out there who is in the same predicament as myself can be inspired.. because that would be the greatest gift of all!</p>
